The Woman.

Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;

Who is earning almost as much as you do;

One, who has dreams and aspirations just as

you have because she is as human as you are;

One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your

Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system

that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements

One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as

much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;

One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name

One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen

One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook

food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more,

and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother,

a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you are as

to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;

One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;

Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can, but won't, simply

Because you won't like it, even though you say otherwise

One, who can be late from work once in a while when deadlines, just like yours, are to be met;

One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important,

relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some

and trust her;

One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.

But not many guys understand this......

Please appreciate "HER"

The Me....

One year of MBA over.

Entered a new phase of life where suddenly a realization comes....i have to find myself a job in  few months.

I seem to myself a girl with high aspirations. I always want to do big things or things in a bigger way. I feel I should always do things perfectly and in the best possible manner. I have high hopes from me as well as from the world I will be entering after few months.This is the "Ambitious ME".

But there is one more phase in my life, THE FAMILY. My family perceives me as a different person except my Dad. I for the rest of my family am a very normal girl who will complete her padhai, will get married, will work or may not work owing to the Husband's wish, who will make babies and if working will give up her career for the baby etc etc. Very very normal for a family to expect this from a girl. But is this what I also believe in?? .....I won't say "NO" because somewhere some part of my heart also desire to get married and have children and have a happy cute family. This is the "Happy family ME".

She wants to be a perfectionist, she wants to be shrewd, she wants to be courageous, she wants to be confident and determined and dedicated to her work....She wants to be the best..."If I ever get to do this I will be the most contented girl of this world" is what I think i will be,  but the happy family girl seems to stare me from far.

Don't know if I will be able to please the both of "ME".

At this stage of life where I am supposed to mould myself to be prepared enough to handle the stiff competition lying ahead in the corporate world, I am expected to get myself clicked for the marriage proposal snaps at home.

Lets see how far am I able to keep the "ambitious me" standing tall as my mom will never allow the "happy family me" to stumble.

High Hopes is the one thing completely incorporated in both "MEs". ;-) :-) :-D

B'Day

My life has no purpose, no direction, no aim, no meaning, and yet I'm happy. I can't figure it out. What am I doing right?

Yesterday was my day of complete happiness!!
The day began with a sweet surprise by papa, mom and bhai. Also the most unexpected surprise of my life was waiting for me at 12 yesterday. Muffi, Vrinda and Parthik!! thank u so much..
Some people make u feel so special, and u don't even realize when they come so close to you that even a small SMS from them makes your day.
I attended phone calls, replied to SMSes almost for 24 hours.
The Baroda gang came home in the evening!!!!
It was fun as usual....I had 3 three caked yesterday!
I loved each moment of May 21st, 2010

The most beautiful, memorable, cherish able birthday of my life.

Thank u AES.

Just a thought!!!! :-)

Eyes so innocent
Yet so twinkling

Heart is childlike
But holds a lot inside

The smile makes him charming
And his face endearing

I feel adorned
I feel beautiful
I feel elated
I feel happy!!!

Though he is not for me
Yet he is so mine!!!!!!!
